The players were told by coach Todd Graham at the beginning of the season to hang a picture of someone who inspire them on the front of their lockers and quarterback Taylor Kelly began to notice a trend that many players were hanging pictures of the women in thier lives.

“A mom, a grandma, a sister,” Kelly told ESPN .

From there Kelly and a group of seniors on the team began thinking of a way to take Graham’s idea and send a message. That’s how the players came up with their own version of #ItsOnUs where they were given a piece of paper that said “I pledge to help stop domestic violence because… " to fill in the blank. The players either took them back to their dorm rooms or left them in their locker but not before snapping a picture.

Signed at the bottom of each paper is “Sun Devil Brotherhood” and it is a bond that is having a positive influence on these men.
